David Pérez and Luana Dourado are the champions of the European Tour of Bodyboard El Socorro!

David Pérez from El Realejo became the champion at the European Tour of Bodyboard (ETB) 2025 El Socorro competition! In the final, he scored 17.66 points, surpassing Basque Unax Pascual (14.60) and Frenchman Amaury Lavernhe (14.46), who fought for the victory until the last minute.

Pérez, a local guy, said before the competition that he just wanted to show his surfing and achieve the best result. Although the competition is not the main thing for him now, he really enjoys competing in El Socorro.

Unax Pascual also won in the ProJunior category with a score of 13.25 points. He was generally one of the brightest participants of ETB 2025 El Socorro, showing great results.

In the women's category, Portuguese Luana Dourado became the champion again, as in 2024. In the final, she scored 10.90 points, beating another Portuguese, Teresa Padrela (9.90), and Alexandra Rinder from Austria and Germany (9.85). The best bodyboarders in the world competed in the final.

Frenchman Fabien Thazar won in the Dropknee discipline, defeating Canarians Samuel Figueroa and Hugo Hernández, as well as Venezuelan Angelo Freda, who lives in Gran Canaria. Thazar scored 12.50 points.

The final day of the competition in Tenerife was blessed with good weather and excellent waves. Although a storm was predicted, it did not affect the competition.

The next stage of the ETB will take place from October 3 to 5 in Gran Canaria, and the final will be in Morocco in November.
