The "Dancing is not a crime" electronic music event returns to Papagayo Tenerife this Friday, September 13, featuring a headline performance by Belgian duo Fus!on.

The Canary Islands' electronic music scene is hitting its stride again, moving past the administrative hurdles that followed the pandemic. According to local nightlife experts, the conceptual event "Dancing is not a crime" makes its return to El Nido at Papagayo Tenerife this Friday, September 13, starting at 11:00 p.m.

The project was launched by Belgian DJ and local resident Paxxon as a protest against post-lockdown health rules that once banned dancing in clubs. Since then, it has evolved from a symbolic act of defiance into a professional platform for underground house and tech house music.

The highlight of this second edition is a performance by the Belgian duo Fus!on. With over a decade of experience, Juliano and Seby are known for blending percussive beats with melodic layers. Their sets are designed to build energy on the dance floor, favoring immersive, evolving soundscapes over predictable, linear tracks.

The lineup also features Nastya Lav, Dave Amerson, and Paxxon, ensuring a steady flow of music throughout the night. The success of events like this shows that the island’s clubbing scene has fully recovered, shifting from a period of protest to a thriving cultural hub for fans of cutting-edge electronic music.
