The city council, committed to ongoing discussions with the taxi industry and keeping all negotiation channels open, expressed disappointment over protests that harm residents, cause traffic problems, and affect the city's economy.

The city council has once again confirmed its commitment to ongoing discussions with the taxi industry. It also stressed its clear intention to keep working on any issues, no matter when they arise.

Because of this, the council is disappointed that protests are being organized, as they directly hurt residents, cause traffic problems, and affect the city's economy. This is especially true since the council has kept all negotiation channels open and is ready to continue discussions to find effective solutions that everyone can agree on.

Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez reminded everyone that "the Taxi Board has always received detailed information, specific proposals, and direct attention from the City Council." He also emphasized that "protests that block traffic do not help move towards solutions."
