Costa Adeje Tenerife is experiencing a historic 25/26 Liga F Moeve season, recording their best-ever away start with 13 points from five matches and currently leading the league in away standings.

Costa Adeje Tenerife is having a historic season in Liga F Moeve (25/26). The team, known as the 'white-and-blues', has made their best-ever start to an away season in the top league. They are also currently the best away team in the league.

Coach Eder Maestre's team has earned an impressive 13 out of a possible 15 points on the road, away from their home stadium, Rodríguez López. This comes from four wins and one draw. They've beaten Sevilla, Alhama, Real Sociedad, and Levante, and drew 0-0 with Athletic Club. These results have put the Tenerife side at the very top of the away league table.

Costa Adeje Tenerife has turned their away games into a major strength, scoring 14 goals and only letting in 3. This means they average almost three goals per away match. In the entire league, only Barça has scored more. The 'white-and-blues' are even ahead of the league's traditional 'big four' in the away standings. After them come Barcelona (12 points), Real Sociedad (11), Atlético de Madrid (8), and Real Madrid (8).

This amazing run looks even better when you compare it to previous seasons. In 24/25, the team only managed 6 away points. In both 23/24 and 22/23, they got just 4 points, scoring only three goals away from home in 22/23. Even their previous best away start, in 20/21, saw them earn 11 points (three wins and two draws) from their first five away games.

The significance of these numbers grows when looking at their overall performance in recent seasons. Eder Maestre's team is now just one point shy of matching the 14 away points they earned in the entire 24/25 season. They've already easily surpassed the 9 points from 23/24 and are closing in on the 19 points they finished with in 22/23 after fifteen away matches. Simply put, in just five away games this season, the Tenerife team has already achieved almost as much – or even more – than they did in whole away seasons recently.

The team's strong away form comes from a mix of experienced players, young talent, and a lot of ambition. Captain Patri Gavira, who joined the club in 2016 and has seen the team grow, believes this big improvement is due to a key change. She said, "One important thing we've noticed this season is the new training facility. It helps us get used to different pitch sizes and surfaces, similar to where we'll be playing our matches. The team has really felt the difference compared to previous years."

Gavira added that "hard work" is another key factor. The team focuses on creating "many scoring opportunities," both at home and away, but their away game dynamics make them even more dangerous. "Our away results really motivate the team," Gavira explained. "We hope this run continues for as long as possible. But we also want to get similar results at home, so we can be strong at the Heliodoro stadium too."

Aithiara Carballo has also been crucial. Since returning to the team, she's become one of their most impactful players at left-back. The Orotava-born player said, "From the very first game of the season in Lezama, I could tell the team was very strong defensively, which is a huge advantage when playing away. A big reason for our success is that we're a united group and we all work together. We're seeing how much trouble we cause opponents when we play away from the island, and that really makes us believe in what we're doing."
