Costa Adeje Tenerife is combining its preseason training in Fuerteventura with a new youth development program designed to provide local girls with professional coaching and mentorship.

Costa Adeje Tenerife is turning its preseason into more than just physical training; it is now a project aimed at revitalizing the local community. The club has announced that it will hold its summer training camp in Fuerteventura, based at the Coral Cotillo Beach complex. This move reflects a growing trend among Liga F clubs to host activities across different islands, creating new opportunities by linking tourism with high-performance sports.

The team will split its time between the El Cotillo Football Field for morning tactical sessions and the hotel’s facilities, which will be used for strength training and recovery.

Beyond preparing the professional squad, the trip has a strong educational focus. In partnership with the Island Council, the FIFLP Foundation, and the municipalities of La Oliva and Puerto del Rosario, the club is launching a training program for local youth. Forty girls from the island will have the chance to train for free alongside the first-team players, helping to bridge the gap for young athletes living outside the main capital cities.

This initiative highlights the power of public-private partnerships in women’s sports. By combining tourism promotion with grassroots development, Costa Adeje Tenerife and Coral Hotels are setting a new standard for corporate social responsibility. The opening of registration for these sessions is a key step toward professionalizing youth football and providing young players with accessible role models, which is essential for the long-term growth of the sport in the region.
