Cool Moon Festival Expands Across Canary Islands with June Concert Series
The Cool Moon Festival returns to the Canary Islands from June 12 to 14, featuring a series of diverse live music performances across Tenerife, La Graciosa, and Gran Canaria to support the region's growing cultural scene.
The Cool Moon Festival is growing its footprint in the Canary Islands with a new series of events running from June 12 to 14. Supported by the Canary Islands Government, Promotur, the ICDC, the Cabildo of Tenerife, and local councils in La Laguna, Tacoronte, and Teguise, the festival aims to bring live music to diverse locations across the islands, making the arts more accessible to everyone.
The schedule kicks off on Thursday, June 12, in Tenerife. At 9:00 p.m., Café Teatro Rayuela in Santa Cruz will host a performance by Lornoar, an artist known for exploring identity through her music. Tickets are available now via Tickety.es.
On Saturday, June 13, the festival heads to two different locations. At 7:30 p.m., Hermanos de Jacoba will perform on Calle Arquitecto Marrero in Granadilla de Abona (free entry until capacity is reached). Later, at 9:00 p.m., a trio led by Melania Piñero, featuring Cristóbal Montesdeoca and Tomás LP Cruz, will bring a Brazilian and tropical-inspired repertoire to the Inocencia Páez Sociocultural Center in Caleta de Sebo, La Graciosa. This performance is also free to attend.
The festival concludes on Sunday, June 14, at Sala Faro in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Singer Carla Vega and pianist Satomi Morimoto will perform an intimate set highlighting the connection between voice and piano. Tickets for this final show can be purchased through Entradium.com.
