The town of Granadilla de Abona is launching another great initiative to support local businesses! It's like discount coupons that will help you save money and entrepreneurs earn money.
The initiative is called "I buy in Granadilla de Abona – Consumer Bonds 2025". Coupons can be purchased from October 1 on the website www.yocomproengranadilla.com. There you will also find a list of stores where you can use them and how much money each store has left. But keep in mind that one store can accept a maximum of €4,500 in coupons. The promotion will last until the end of November 2025.
The mayor says that this is a great opportunity for families to save money on purchases, as the coupons give a 50% discount. And for local businesses, it's a breath of fresh air, as more people will buy from them.
A total of 18,300 coupons worth €366,000 will be issued. The city council pays half the value of each coupon. It turns out that each resident can buy up to 10 coupons, each worth €20. But you only pay €10, and the city council pays the remaining €10.
More than 120 stores from various fields have already joined the initiative. These include clothing, cosmetics, food, electronics and many other stores. A complete list can be found on the website.
