Tenerife volleyball teams face challenging away games today, with Cisneros La Laguna battling undefeated Grupo Herce Soria in the Men's Superliga and Tenerife Libby's La Laguna in a crucial Copa de la Reina qualifier against Haro Rioja Vóley.

Cisneros La Laguna faces a tough away game today at 6:30 PM. The team from Tenerife will visit Grupo Herce Soria Voleibol, one of the top teams in the Men's Superliga, at the Los Pajaritos Municipal Sports Center.

Cisneros is currently in sixth place, having won their last two matches – 3-1 against Almería and 3-0 at home against Tarragona. With seven points, their goal is to get a good result in Soria to climb higher in the league table.

Grupo Herce Soria Voleibol, on the other hand, is second in the league with 14 points and is still undefeated. They've won both of their home games so far, and last weekend they had to fight back from behind to win 3-2 away against Bus Leader San Roque.

Cisneros coach Miguel Rivera believes his team is "just as good and on the same track" as they've been all season. He acknowledges it will be a "complicated match on one of the most difficult courts in the Superliga." To earn points in Soria, he stresses that his team must "play very, very well and make very few errors." He added that they will aim for all three points, or at least some points if a full win isn't possible.

Meanwhile, at 5:00 PM, Tenerife Libby's La Laguna will play their ninth Liga Iberdrola match. The La Laguna team travels to the Pabellón Frontón El Ferial to face Haro Rioja Vóley, a direct competitor for a spot in the Copa de la Reina.

This is a crucial game for Cup qualification. Both Libby's and Haro Rioja are on ten points, sitting eighth and ninth in the league. The team from Taco comes into the match with renewed confidence after winning their last game against Fundación Cajasol Andalucía, while Haro Rioja lost 3-1 to Heidelberg-Volkswagen in their previous outing.

Coach Guillermo Orduna said that "winning again after four matches generates confidence and prepares the group to work during the week." He added, "We have prepared a lot for the next match, knowing the challenge we have ahead. We are focused on the goal."

All of Tenerife's Women's Superliga 2 teams are playing at home. In Group A, at 5:00 PM, Cuesta Piedra defends their top spot against Chamberí, and Arona plays Extremadura. In Group B, Élite takes on Sant Just at 5:30 PM. In Group C, Fedes plays Medsur at 7:00 PM.

In the men's league, Arona hosts Cratevo at 7:30 PM. Cisneros La Laguna will also play tomorrow, visiting Barça at 10:00 AM.
