Car Catches Fire on La Laguna Road, Firefighters Respond
A car caught fire late Friday night in La Laguna's La Cuesta area, with firefighters quickly extinguishing the blaze that originated at the front of the vehicle.
A car caught fire late Friday night in La Laguna, suffering partial damage.
The blaze happened in the La Cuesta area. Firefighters from the San Benito station quickly arrived to put out the flames.
The fire started as the car was driving on the Cuesta-Taco road, just as it was merging onto Avenida de Los Menceyes, near where Tram Line 2 begins.
Videos of the incident show the fire originating at the front of the vehicle.
Local police officers from La Laguna also attended the scene. They closed the road to allow emergency services to work safely.
Witnesses reported that firefighters extinguished the fire approximately 20 minutes after it began.
