Canaryfly Expands Low-Cost In-Flight Sales Across All Inter-Island Routes
Canaryfly has started selling snacks and drinks on flights from Tenerife, making its in-flight sales service available on all inter-island routes with affordable options.
Canaryfly, an airline based in the Canary Islands, has now started selling snacks and drinks on flights from Tenerife. This means their in-flight sales service is now available on all inter-island routes. Passengers can choose from a variety of snacks and drinks to make their journey more comfortable and enjoyable.
Cathaysa Santana, Canaryfly's Marketing and Communication Director, explained that the airline wanted its in-flight sales to match its low-cost model. "We wanted to make sure our passengers only pay for what they want, and that prices are affordable," she said.
She added that passengers can pick from various options and combinations, at prices that are "practically impossible to find for in-flight sales on an airplane."
The new menu, which was already available on flights from Gran Canaria, features local products and choices for everyone, with prices from 1 to 3.20 euros. You can buy hot drinks like coffee with milk or condensed milk, or cold options such as water, juices, soft drinks, or Dorada Especial beer. There's also a selection of sweet and savory snacks, including sponge cake, chocolate croissants, Munchitos, and fruit compote for children.
Canaryfly also offers special deals, like coffee with a sweet snack or a soft drink with a savory one. You can pay with cash or card, making it easy to buy things during your flight.
In 2024, Canaryfly reached a new milestone, carrying over 625,000 passengers. The airline is proud to support the people of the Canary Islands by offering the best prices on all its routes throughout the year.
Canaryfly first received the well-known ISO 9001 certification for Quality Management and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management in January 2017. These certifications show the airline's commitment to excellent flight operations and management, both on the ground and in the air. In 2018, it also earned OHSAS Certification for Occupational Health and Safety, which was later updated to ISO 45001.
In June 2024, Canaryfly renewed its IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification, which it first achieved in 2018. This is an internationally recognized standard that checks an airline's control systems and operational management. The IOSA program helps build a strong safety culture and ensures airlines meet aviation authority rules.
Canaryfly is dedicated to constantly improving its services, using its resources efficiently, reducing its impact on the environment, and strengthening its commitment to social responsibility.
