Canary Islands Yearbook 2024 Launched in Tenerife
The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Association of Journalists launched the comprehensive Canary Islands Yearbook 2024, Spain's most extensive publication of its kind, this Friday at the regional government headquarters.
This Friday, the Canary Islands Yearbook 2024 was launched at the regional government headquarters in Tenerife's capital. The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Association of Journalists (APT) organized the presentation.
Jonathan Domínguez, the regional Deputy Minister for Communication and Media Relations, and Salvador García Llanos, the president of the APT, led the event.
Since its first edition, which covered the year 2004, the Canary Islands Yearbook has gathered analysis, statistics, and press archives. It summarizes the situation in the Islands and highlights the most important issues of the year each edition focuses on.
This publication is the most comprehensive of its kind produced by journalist associations and colleges in Spain. Its significance is clear from the numbers it has achieved in 21 years: 4,260 pages, 800 authors, 1,800 articles, and over 6,800 summaries of news headlines.
