Canary Islands Weather: More of the Same on Thursday

The weather in Tenerife this Thursday, October 23rd, will be much like yesterday. The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) predicts partly cloudy skies, with temperatures staying about the same and gentle winds. This pattern is similar across the other islands.

Tenerife will see temperatures between 22 and 27ºC.

The north of the mountainous islands, as well as Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, will have cloudy periods with some sunshine in the middle of the day. Elsewhere, expect generally partly cloudy skies, with more clouds inland in the afternoon.

At sea, expect north or northeast winds of force 3 to 5, except off the coast of El Hierro, where winds will be from the west or northwest, also at force 3 to 5. Seas will be rippled to rough, with a northwest swell of 1 to 2 meters.

La Palma:

Generally partly cloudy, cloudier in the northeast at the start and end of the day, and inland in the afternoon. A little drizzle is possible in the northeastern midlands later in the day. Temperatures are steady. Light winds, mainly from the northeast, a bit stronger in the southeast and northwest.

El Hierro:
