The Canary Islands are experiencing stable weather conditions this Sunday with rising temperatures in higher altitudes and no active meteorological alerts.

The weather across the Canary Islands is settling down this Sunday, marking a transition toward warmer temperatures, particularly at higher altitudes. According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), there are no weather alerts in place, bringing a welcome break in conditions across the islands.

In Tenerife, skies will be mostly clear, though some clouds may develop around midday in inland and western areas. While coastal temperatures will remain steady—with Santa Cruz de Tenerife seeing highs between 18°C and 23°C—temperatures will climb in the mid-altitudes and mountain summits. This warming trend will be even more pronounced in the interior of La Gomera, La Palma, and El Hierro.

Light to moderate northeast winds will continue, with stronger gusts expected in the southeast and far northwest. The southwest will see calmer breezes, while winds on the central peaks will shift toward the west.

The rest of the islands will also enjoy stable weather. Lanzarote and Fuerteventura can expect clear skies and steady temperatures with moderate northeast winds. At sea, conditions are favorable for sailing, with slight to moderate waves and a northwest swell gradually decreasing to between one and two meters. Overall, the combination of rising temperatures in the mountains and the lack of severe weather makes for a calm Sunday across the archipelago.
