Canary Islands Scoop National Lottery Prizes
The Canary Islands celebrated multiple lottery wins as both first and second prizes in the National Lottery draw on November 20th were sold across Gran Canaria and Tenerife, alongside numerous other locations in Spain.
Good luck has struck the Canary Islands again, with prizes won in the National Lottery draw on Thursday, November 20th.
Both the first and second prizes were sold in Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
The first prize, number 97207, was sold in El Doctoral, Gran Canaria, at the lottery office on Avenida de Canarias, 379. In Tenerife, it was sold in Aldea Blanca, San Miguel de Abona.
This prize was also sold in many other locations across Spain, including Berja and Almería, Lorca and Nonduermas in Murcia, Caudete in Albacete, Beniarrés in Alicante, Aranda de Duero in Burgos, Santander, Carboneras de Guadazaón in Cuenca, Madrid and Torrejón de Ardoz, Nueva Andalucía in Málaga, and Alginet in Valencia.
The second prize went to number 12285. In Tenerife, it was sold in Los Baldíos (San Cristóbal de La Laguna), Los Abrigos (Granadilla de Abona), and La Orotava.
This prize was also widely distributed, with sales in La Jonquera (Girona), Campohermoso and San Isidro de Níjar in Almería, Gijón and Oviedo, Castelldefels and Vilanova del Camí in Barcelona, Girona, Peligros in Granada, and Valle de Abdalajís in Málaga.
To play, you first choose which draw you want to enter. There are usually at least four draws available.
Next, you pick the five-digit number you want to play with. You can choose the digits yourself or let the system pick them randomly. You also decide how many tickets you want, between one and ten.
If you choose a specific number, it might not be available if it's already been sold or is only sold in physical lottery offices.
The tickets you buy online are digital, not paper ones. They have the same chance of winning as paper tickets bought in shops. The main difference is how you claim your prize: with a paper ticket, you need to present it, but with an online purchase, you receive your winnings automatically, just like with other online games.
The cost of each ticket varies depending on the draw it's for.
You win a prize if your number, or any of its digits, matches the winning numbers for that draw, according to the prize structure. This includes matching the first prize, second prize, ending digits, or getting a refund.
