The new musical 'Moher', created by Canary Islands artists and offering a modern, feminist take on traditional myths, premieres this Friday at 8:00 PM at the Adeje Auditorium.
The Adeje Auditorium will host the premiere of 'Moher' this Friday at 8:00 PM. This new musical was created by playwright and director Melodie Pérez and composer Ubaldo Pérez, and produced by Encaro Factory. Developed by artists and professionals from the Canary Islands, the show offers a fresh look at traditional myths and legends. It explores themes like identity, love, and personal growth, all from a modern, feminist viewpoint.
The cast of 'Moher' features a group of rising stars from the Canary Islands' musical theatre and contemporary dance scenes: Silvia Criado, Saulo Trujillo, Carla Peraza, Tamia Déniz, David Cabrera Negrín, Aygul Akhunova, Adrián Méndez, and Cecilia Luis.
Rehearsals have been held in Encaro Factory's multi-purpose room, moving to the Adeje Auditorium itself this week.
Guillermo Molina designed the set, Leo Martínez created the costumes, Paloma Schmunk is in charge of characterization, and Juanjo Beloqui designed the lighting. With musical direction and sound design also carefully crafted, the entire production aims to put the audience's experience first.
Tickets for tonight's premiere can be bought through the Adeje Auditorium's usual channels or on the production company's website: www.encarofactory.com.
