
Canary Islands Funds 41 Performing Arts Projects with €500,000
The Government of the Canary Islands has allocated 500,000 euros to support 41 performing arts projects set to premiere between 2024 and October 2025.
The Government of the Canary Islands will provide financial support to 41 performing arts projects. These works are set to premiere between 2024 and October 31, 2025.
The Department of Culture has finalized its grant program for this purpose, allocating a total of 500,000 euros. This funding will support productions in various fields, including theater, dance, movement arts, spoken word performances, circus arts, and other genres.
"Performing arts are an essential part of cultural life in the Canary Islands, and it's crucial they have stable support to continue growing," stated Migdalia Machín, the regional Minister of Culture. "This decision ensures the continuity of a sector that creates spaces for connection and creativity across our islands."
