Three winning tickets for the first prize in Spain's June 6 National Lottery draw were sold across the Canary Islands, each awarding 150,000 euros.

The Canary Islands are celebrating after Saturday’s National Lottery draw on June 6, which saw three winning tickets for the first prize sold across the archipelago. Each winning ticket is worth 150,000 euros per series.

The winning number was 97984. In Tenerife, lucky tickets were sold at two service stations: one at kilometer 54 of the southern highway in Granadilla de Abona, and another in El Porís de Abona. On the island of La Palma, a winning ticket was sold at an administration on Calle Anselmo Pérez de Brito, 86, in Santa Cruz de La Palma.

The first prize was also shared with winners in the provinces of Barcelona, Granada, and Málaga. The second prize (86985) went to Valencia, while the third prize (90170) was spread across Barcelona, Girona, Granada, Huelva, León, and Soria.

This draw highlights the two ways people play the lottery in Spain: through traditional paper tickets, which must be kept safe to claim a prize, or through digital platforms. While the odds remain the same, digital play simplifies the process by automating payments, removing the need to present a physical ticket. Both methods operate under a regulated system that ensures transparency for all players.
