Canary Islands Among Winners in National Lottery Draw
Multiple winning tickets for the 30,000-euro first prize in Spain's April 30 National Lottery draw were sold across the Canary Islands, including locations in Tenerife, La Gomera, and Gran Canaria.
The Canary Islands are celebrating after a successful result in this Thursday’s National Lottery draw on April 30. According to Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (LAE), the first prize of 30,000 euros was shared across several regions in Spain, with multiple winning tickets sold throughout the islands.
The winning number was 64299. In Tenerife, a winning ticket was sold at 20 Avenida Libertad in La Laguna. The prize also reached La Gomera, where a ticket was purchased at 161 Carretera General in Hermigua. Additionally, two locations in Gran Canaria sold winning tickets: one at 38 Avenida Lairaga in Bañaderos and another at 10 Avenida del Mercado in Vega de San Mateo.
Outside the islands, the first prize was also won in La Rioja, Jaén, Badajoz, Albacete, Barcelona, Madrid, and Murcia. Meanwhile, the second prize—number 52102—was won exclusively in Barcelona.
National Lottery draws allow players to participate either by buying physical tickets at lottery offices or by playing online. While online players can choose their own numbers or use a random selection tool, their odds of winning remain exactly the same as those playing with paper tickets. The main difference is how prizes are claimed: paper tickets must be presented in person to collect winnings, whereas online prizes are automatically credited to the user's account.
