The 35th Canarias Jazz & Más International Festival will return from July 3 to 25, featuring 59 concerts across all eight Canary Islands with a diverse lineup of 31 international and local acts.

The 35th Canarias Jazz & Más International Festival has unveiled its plans for this summer, with events running from July 3 to 25. The festival remains a major cultural highlight for the Canary Islands, reaching all eight islands across roughly 30 different locations.

Festival director Miguel Ramírez, joined by representatives from the Canary Islands government and local partners, presented a program that emphasizes both artistic quality and local economic support. Nearly 60% of the festival’s budget is dedicated to hiring local companies and professionals. The event supports over 200 jobs and generates an estimated economic impact of more than half a million euros.

The lineup features 31 acts from the United States, Europe, Latin America, and Africa. New additions include Hannes Bennich, Sylwester Ostrowski, and a collaboration between Yul Ballesteros and Ariel Brínguez. They join previously announced headliners such as Jacob Collier—performing with the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra—Tigran Hamasyan, José James, and Yellowjackets. Local talent is a key focus this year, with ten Canarian projects featured and women making up over a third of the total acts.

The festival will host 59 concerts, along with educational masterclasses and talks. By spreading performances across 11 venues in Tenerife, 13 in Gran Canaria, and one on each of the other islands, the organizers continue their commitment to bringing music to every corner of the archipelago. To boost its international profile, the festival is running promotional campaigns in the UK, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, and the US, and will host international journalists to cover the performances.

With nearly 220 musicians participating—including large ensembles like the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Municipal Symphonic Band—Canarias Jazz & Más remains a must-see event on Spain’s summer calendar. For the full schedule and ticket information, visit the festival’s official website.
