The Canarias Improvisa Festival presents two unique improvised shows, "Te como la vida" and "Woman Up!", at the Leal Theater this Thursday, offering audiences a night of laughter, emotion, and audience-driven storytelling.

This Thursday, the Canarias Improvisa Festival is bringing two back-to-back shows to the Leal Theater in La Laguna. Get ready for an evening packed with laughs, thought-provoking moments, and a real connection with the performers.

First up at 7:00 PM is "Te como la vida" by the Granada company La Tetera Impro. This show is completely improvised, meaning the audience is key to shaping the story. Based on your suggestions, the performers will create scenes full of raw emotion, tenderness, shouting, laughter, and tears. They'll explore common human struggles that resonate with everyone, making for a live, fleeting, and deeply human experience.

Then, at 9:00 PM, don't miss "Woman Up!" featuring Paula Galimberti (Jamming), Encarni Corrales (La Tetera Impro), Laura Márquez, and Ana Puerta. These four top improvisers from across Spain are joining forces for a show that blends humor with reflection. They'll be sharing stories and insights from everyday life, bringing laughter and awareness to the stage.

The Canarias Improvisa Festival, put on by Imprudentes Teatro, is now in its fourth year (2025). This year's festival includes shows, workshops, and interactive events happening in La Laguna, Tacoronte, and Vilaflor de Chasna. The festival is all about creating theatre that's engaging, sustainable, and puts the audience at the center, building creativity right there on stage.
