Turkish star Can Yaman is filming his first Spanish-language series as a betrayed secret agent in Tenerife, where he has also been seen engaging with local Canarian culture and sports.

Turkish soap opera star Can Yaman is currently in Tenerife, filming his first Spanish-language series.

But his time on the island isn't just about work. It also gives actors a chance to experience Canarian culture and traditions. Can Yaman seems eager to embrace this, especially when it comes to local sports.

For instance, a few weeks ago, he was spotted enjoying a Canarian wrestling match in Valle Guerra. Then, on his birthday, Saturday, November 8th, he went to watch the football game between CD Tenerife and Bilbao Athletic.

The club posted photos of the actor with Tenerife's president, Felipe Miñambres, before the game. They also gave him a team jersey, a scarf, and a book called 'Centenario de Una Pasión'.

Yaman is collaborating with Secuoya Studios on this project, which marks his first Spanish-language role filmed in Spain. He's been on the island for several weeks as some of the scenes are being shot there.

The show is described as a mix of emotion, action, and mystery. It follows a secret agent who is betrayed and must clear his name, all while learning that love could be his biggest weakness or his only way out.

This eight-episode series stars Yaman as a secret agent with a perfect record. After being betrayed, he becomes Spain's most wanted man. As he tries to clear his name and expose those behind a multi-million-euro plot to rob state funds, he'll find that love might be his greatest vulnerability, or perhaps, his only hope.

Eduardo Galdo ('La Encrucijada,' which also filmed parts in Tenerife) is the executive producer and creator of the original concept. Lele Portas ('Heridas') is also an executive producer. Ángela Obón ('4 estrellas') and Daniel Corpas ('Cuando nadie nos ve') wrote the script, promising a story rich in mystery, action, and deep emotion.
