CajaCanarias Opens 33rd Children's Story Competition
The CajaCanarias Foundation has opened entries for its 33rd "Shall We Tell You a Story?" Award, inviting young writers aged 6 to 14 in the Canary Islands to submit stories by April 10 for a chance to win prizes and publication.
The 33rd "Shall We Tell You a Story?" Award, run by the CajaCanarias Foundation, is a well-established cultural event for children in the Canary Islands. For over 30 years, this competition has encouraged young writers in the Canary Islands. The foundation has announced that entries for this year's competition are now open.
The competition is open to children and young people aged 6 to 14 who live in the Canary Islands. The deadline for submissions is April 10 at 2:00 PM.
A total of 15 prizes will be awarded, with five winners chosen from each age group: 6-8 years, 9-11 years, and 12-14 years. The prizes, given as gifts, are worth a total of 2,000 euros. The winning stories will also be published in an illustrated book. Each winning author will get 15 copies of the book, and their schools will receive five copies, helping to share the stories and celebrate the young writers. Full details and rules for the competition are available on the foundation's official website: www.cajacanarias.com.
