The CajaCanarias Foundation is hosting a series of free cultural events this Thursday, featuring an artist talk in La Palma and a sold-out comedy performance alongside an open mic session in Tenerife.

The CajaCanarias Foundation is hosting two major cultural events this Thursday, focusing on artistic identity in La Palma and political satire in Tenerife.

In La Palma, the Santa Cruz Cultural Space will host a conversation with artist Luis Morera at 7:00 p.m. Joined by writer Anelio Rodríguez, Morera will discuss his exhibition, Ach Guañac. Geografías del vínculo. The talk will explore his life and career, covering his early influences, his time with the iconic band Taburiente, and his later work in visual arts and urban design.

Meanwhile, in Tenerife, the foundation is offering two distinct events. The auditorium will host a live performance by comedians Facu Díaz and Miguel Maldonado titled Quieto todo el mundo. The show, which sold out months ago, brings their popular digital commentary on current affairs to the stage.

Additionally, the cultural center is continuing its programming for Jaume Plensa’s exhibition, Sombras y Poemas. From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the center will hold an "Open Mic" session. Those interested in reading their work within the exhibition space can sign up via the foundation’s website.

Both Tenerife events and the La Palma colloquium are free to attend until capacity is reached, reflecting the foundation’s commitment to supporting both established artists and modern forms of community expression.
