The Trofeo Infantas de España regatta has concluded in Tenerife: the winners have been announced.
The 31st Trofeo Infantas de España regatta, the final stage of the Canary Islands Cruise Tour, has concluded in Tenerife, with the ‘Solum Tenerife Aedas Homes’ crew winning the overall standings.
This weekend in Santa Cruz, the 31st Trofeo Infantas de España regatta, organized by the Royal Yacht Club of Tenerife, took place. These competitions were part of the Spanish Cup and became the final point of the Canary Islands Cruise Tour, following stages in Lanzarote (Trofeo César Manrique) and Gran Canaria (Trofeo Princesa de Asturias).
Thanks to the excellent weather, it was possible to complete the final stage – a coastal route of approximately 14 miles. The start took place with a wind of about 8 knots, but then the wind increased to 12-15 knots and remained so until the end of the race.
The winner of the Trofeo Infantas de España regatta was the ‘Butxaca’ crew (Joaquín Blanco, RCN Gran Canaria), who won two of the three stages and became the best in the ORC 0-3 category. Second place went to ‘Solum Tenerife Aedas Homes’ (Lucio Pérez, RCNT), and third place to ‘Adrián Hoteles Macaronesia’ (Daniel Adrián, CVN de Arona).
In the ORC 4 category, the RCNT yachts took the lead. The best was ‘Maeña 9’ (Andrés Monje), who won all three stages. Second place went to ‘Duende’ (Eduardo Olmos), and third place to ‘Arama’ (Miguel Aranaz).
In ORC 5, ‘Alzenit’ (Miguel Cantero, RCN Gran Canaria) celebrated the victory, also winning all three races. He was accompanied on the podium by ‘Luna Doce’ (Francisco Ricart, RCN Gran Canaria) and ‘Susana XXIII’ (Antonio José Arderius, RCNT).
The Trofeo Infantas de España regatta was the final stage of the Canary Islands Cruise Tour, determining the winners after the Trofeo César Manrique and Trofeo Princesa de Asturias competitions. The overall champion of the tour was ‘Solum Tenerife Aedas Homes’ (Lucio Pérez, RCNT).

- ORC 0-2: ‘Lanzarote Sailing Paradise’ (Luis Miguel Cabrera, RCN Arrecife)
- ORC 3: ‘Solum Tenerife Aedas Homes’ (Lucio Pérez, RCNT)
- ORC 4: ‘Maeña 9’ (Andrés Monje, RCNT)
- ORC 5: ‘Alzenit’ (Miguel Cantero, RCN Gran Canaria)
The awards ceremony was attended by numerous distinguished guests, including representatives of the authorities, sponsors, and organizers of the regatta.
RCNT President Andrés Orozco congratulated the participants, organizers, and sponsors, emphasizing the importance of the regatta for the club and the development of sailing in the Canary Islands.
