Weekend in Tenerife: firefighters rescued people and extinguished fires.

Over the past weekend, firefighters in Tenerife extinguished numerous fires, responded to accidents, and provided assistance to victims in various municipalities of the island.

Firefighters in Tenerife had a busy weekend. They put out fires, rescued people, and assisted after accidents in various parts of the island. They often had to work together with the police and paramedics.

On Sunday, around 10:50 PM, a car caught fire in Icod de los Vinos. Someone called 112, and firefighters quickly arrived on El Adelantado Street. They were assisted by local volunteers and the police.

On the same day, at 7:22 PM, an accident occurred in Guía de Isora – a car overturned on Playa San Juan (TF-463). Firefighters turned the car over and disconnected the battery. The Civil Guard, local police, ambulance, and road service also worked at the scene.

In the afternoon, at 2:10 PM, a man fell on the pier in Puerto de la Cruz. Firefighters from La Orotava helped him, secured his neck with a special collar, and carefully carried him on a stretcher to a safe place. They were assisted by the police and paramedics.

Also on Sunday, around 3:00 PM, a kitchen caught fire in a house on La Sabina Road in Icod de los Vinos. Firefighters quickly evacuated people from the house, checked for fire, and ventilated the premises.

On Saturday, at 11:25 AM, a woman was rescued in San Miguel de Abona who was injured on the Montaña Amarilla trail and could not continue walking. She was carefully carried on a stretcher to an ambulance. Local police and the Civil Guard assisted.

The same firefighters extinguished a garbage container that caught fire at 4:00 AM in Arona, on the Cabo Blanco road to La Camella. The Civil Guard also worked there.

And on Friday, at 7:25 PM, a car caught fire in La Laguna on Marques de Celada Street. The fire started in the engine. Local police were at the scene.
