Buenavista Police Arrest Trio for Robbery, Dangerous Driving
Police in Buenavista del Norte have arrested three individuals on charges of violent robbery and dangerous driving after they allegedly robbed tourists in Masca and led officers on a high-speed chase.
Police in Buenavista del Norte have arrested three people – two men and one woman – on charges of violent robbery and dangerous driving.
Officers learned about the incident when some tourists reported being robbed inside their rental car in the Masca area. The victims were able to describe the suspects' vehicle, and police began searching minutes later.
They soon found the suspects, who were driving very fast, swerving, and crossing into the wrong lane. Working with the local police in Buenavista del Norte, officers set up a plan to stop the car.
The suspects had previous police records for similar crimes. The stolen items were recovered and, along with the arrested individuals, handed over to the court.
