A six-year-old boy is in serious condition after falling from a second-floor corridor railing in Tenerife, suffering severe injuries including a head trauma.
A six-year-old boy is in serious condition after reportedly falling from the second floor into an inside patio in southern Tenerife.
The incident happened last Tuesday in a building in the coastal area of Guía de Isora.
Police are investigating, and one theory is that the boy was walking on the outside of a corridor railing when he fell in the town of Playa San Juan.
The fall caused several serious injuries, with a head injury being the most concerning to paramedics.
Emergency services, including ambulances, local police, and civil guards, arrived quickly at the scene.
Due to the severity of his injuries, the boy was immediately taken to the emergency room at Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital.
Reports indicate that he underwent surgery on Tuesday.
