The 19th Boreal Festival in Los Silos, Tenerife, has announced its diverse lineup for September 18–19, featuring headliners Aterciopelados and Massive Attack’s Daddy G.

The 19th Boreal Festival is heading to Los Silos, Tenerife, on September 18 and 19, and organizers have just shared the first look at this year’s lineup. The program promises a global mix of talent, featuring everything from Latin rock legends to pioneers of British electronic music.

Headlining the event are Colombian icons Aterciopelados, who are marking the 30th anniversary of their classic album La Pipa de la Paz. They will be joined by Daddy G, co-founder of Massive Attack, who is set to perform a DJ set. The diverse roster also includes South African band BCUC—winners of the 2023 Womex Artist Award—alongside Aïta Mon Amour, Peruvian artist Renata Flores, Brazilian singer Josyara, and a collaboration between Hempress Sativa and Paolo Baldini DubFiles.

This year’s lineup highlights the festival’s focus on blending electronic innovation with traditional music. For example, Aïta Mon Amour—a project by Widad Mjama and Khalil EPI—fuses ancient Maghreb chants with modern digital sounds. Meanwhile, BCUC brings their signature high-energy, politically charged performances that have made them a staple on the international stage.

Tickets for the festival are now on sale and can be purchased via the official Boreal website or Tickety.es. By balancing established stars with emerging global talent, Boreal continues its mission to bring world-class, diverse cultural events to the Canary Islands.
