Body Found on Slope Near Vía de Ronda in Tenerife
Authorities have launched an investigation after a man’s body was recovered from a steep slope near the Vía de Ronda in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife.
Local authorities have confirmed that a man’s body was found on a slope near the Vía de Ronda (TF-13) in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife. Emergency services were called to the area, located between the Barrio Nuevo and La Verdellada neighborhoods, at around 6:00 p.m. this Monday.
Tenerife firefighters were brought in to recover the body from the steep terrain, supported by public safety and medical teams. Once death was confirmed, the Scientific and Judicial Police arrived to collect evidence. A forensic examiner oversaw the removal of the body, which has since been taken to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
An autopsy will now be conducted to determine the cause of death and the circumstances surrounding the incident. For now, the identity of the man and the details of the case remain confidential while police investigations continue.
