Body Found in North Tenerife Believed to Be Missing Man
A man's body has been discovered on a property in northern Tenerife, believed to be that of a 58-year-old resident who went missing from La Matanza de Acentejo on Christmas Day.
A man's body has been found on a property in northern Tenerife. The discovery was made on a plot of land beside the TF-217 road, close to La Matanza de Acentejo.
Civil Guard officers from various units, including the Judicial Police, along with local police from La Matanza, have been sent to the scene. Local police are managing traffic in the area.
Investigators believe the body may be that of a La Matanza resident who went missing on December 25th. On Christmas Day, 58-year-old Antonio J.C.A. vanished from the same northern municipality, and his disappearance was considered high-risk.
The body will be taken to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Santa Cruz de Tenerife for an autopsy to determine how the man died.
