Binter Doubles Badajoz-Canary Flights with New Tenerife Route
Binter launched new direct flights between Badajoz and Tenerife North on December 1, operating twice weekly, doubling its direct connections from Extremadura to the Canary Islands.
Binter airline started new flights between Badajoz and Tenerife North on Monday, December 1. There will be two flights a week.
This new direct route will fly on Mondays and Fridays. It adds to the existing flights to Gran Canaria, bringing the total to four flights a week between Extremadura and the Canary Islands.
Binter noted the success of its Badajoz to Gran Canaria route, which started last April. It has seen high demand from passengers traveling both ways, with an average of 75% of seats filled.
This is a very good result for a new service, and Binter says it's optimistic about launching the new Tenerife North route because of it.
Adding Tenerife as a new destination means Binter will double its direct flights to the Canary Islands. This gives people in Badajoz and across Extremadura more direct travel choices this winter.
Flights to Tenerife will leave Badajoz on Mondays at 12:30 PM and on Fridays at 12:05 PM. From Tenerife, flights depart at 8:30 AM on Mondays and 8:15 AM on Fridays.
Since April, Binter has also flown to Gran Canaria on Tuesdays and Saturdays. These flights leave Badajoz at 1:35 PM, arriving in Gran Canaria at 2:45 PM local time. Return flights from Gran Canaria depart at 9:45 AM, landing in Badajoz at 12:55 PM.
If passengers are traveling to or from any Canary Island other than Tenerife or Gran Canaria, Binter offers free connecting flights between islands. With an average of 220 daily flights within the archipelago, passengers can reach any Canary Island airport for the same overall price.
Passengers flying with Binter will experience the airline's premium service. This includes comfortable travel on its Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, described as the "quietest, cleanest, and most efficient single-aisle jet in its class." These planes offer more legroom and no middle seats. Onboard, passengers also receive a high-quality service with many amenities, including a gourmet snack.
Binter also offers two special products, "Discover Stopover" and "AirPass Explorer." These allow passengers flying to the Canary Islands from Spain or other countries to visit multiple islands and explore their diverse landscapes and experiences at competitive prices. Both can be booked on Binter's website.
