The cast and crew of "Bajo un Fuego," including stars William Levy and Adriana Torrebejano, were welcomed by El Rosario City Council, who gifted them traditional blankets in appreciation for filming in the town.

El Rosario City Council welcomed some of the cast and crew of the movie "Bajo un Fuego" on Tuesday. This is the second film in the "Bajo un Volcán" series, and it's been filming in various spots around La Esperanza for several weeks.

The film's stars, William Levy and Adriana Torrebejano, were there, along with Levy's daughter, Kailey Levy, who is working on a movie for the first time. Director Martín Cuervo and producers Eduardo Campoy and Guillermo Ríos also attended. They were all greeted by Escolástico Gil, the mayor of El Rosario.

The mayor emphasized "how important it is that such high-profile film productions choose our town as a location. It helps promote El Rosario culturally, economically, and as a tourist destination."

The City Council gave them gifts as a thank you for visiting and for showcasing the town through the filming. William Levy and Adriana Torrebejano each received a traditional "esperancera" blanket, a symbol of local craftsmanship and Canarian culture.

The film crew thanked everyone for the warm welcome and praised the beautiful scenery in El Rosario, as well as the helpful support they received during filming.

"Bajo un Fuego" is being filmed in several locations in La Esperanza, including the Plaza del Adelantado, the soccer field, and the sports hall, solidifying the town's reputation as a great filming location in Tenerife.
