Bajamar Cross Returns for 17th Edition on August 9

The San Cristóbal de La Laguna City Council’s Sports Department has confirmed the return of the Bajamar Cross for its 17th edition. This popular annual event continues to promote healthy living by encouraging residents to enjoy physical activity within the municipality’s protected coastal areas.
The race will take place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, with the start and finish lines located on Avenida del Gran Poder. Participants can collect their race bibs and technical gear on the morning of the event between 08:30 and 10:30.
Registration must be completed online through the official municipal website. All entries must be submitted by the August 5 deadline. Beyond the athletic challenge, the event aims to boost the local area by highlighting Bajamar as a premier destination for sports, leisure, and active tourism.
