A new study by Diversual Erotic Academy names Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Isabel Díaz Ayuso as Spain's most desired celebrities for 2025, with regional preferences also highlighted across the Canary Islands and other areas.
A new study reveals who the most desired celebrities are in the Canary Islands and across Spain. The research, called "Spain's Most Desired Celebrities in 2025," was conducted by the Diversual Erotic Academy in October 2025. It surveyed 5,197 people aged 18 to 60 from various regions.
In the world of politics, Isabel Díaz Ayuso is the top choice. She's the most desired woman in both Tenerife and Las Palmas, and also the most desired politician across Spain, with a commanding 35.1% of votes. Inés Arrimadas comes in second with 24%, followed by Irene Montero at 17.9%. For men in politics, Albert Rivera leads in Tenerife, despite having retired from the political scene.
When it comes to cinema and television, Miguel Ángel Silvestre is the most desired actor among Tenerife residents. He also tops the list in Madrid, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, and Andalusia. Mario Casas follows him, proving more popular in Catalonia, Navarre, Aragon, and western Andalusia. Among female artists, Ana de Armas leads both nationally and in the Canary Islands with 19.7% of votes. Singer Edurne is second with 16.7%, and Úrsula Corberó completes the top three.
In sports, Alexia Putellas, a prominent figure in women's football, is highly desired in Levante, Catalonia, parts of Andalusia, the Basque Country, La Rioja, Zaragoza, and León. However, Paula Badosa is the favorite in the Canary Islands. While Pedri generates a lot of excitement in the Canary Islands, Marc Márquez is the most admired athlete in Tenerife and across Spain, with widespread popularity.
Journalists were also part of the survey. David Broncano is the most desired communicator in the Canary Islands and holds the top spot nationally with 30.5%. Roberto Leal is second with 25.9%, and Jesús Vázquez is third with 18.4%. For women, Cristina Pedroche takes first place, narrowly beating Nuria Roca by 1.1% (25.6%). Nuria Roca is second, and Sandra Barneda is third with 12.4%. Cristina Pedroche is also crowned the favorite in Tenerife.
The study, put together by sexologists Lucía Jiménez and Bárbara Montes, suggests that desire is a mix of charisma, approachability, and media fame.
Nationally, Miguel Ángel Silvestre is Spain's most desired man in 2025, with 7.34% of the votes. David Broncano is a close second with 7.3%, and motorcyclist Marc Márquez completes the top three with 7.28%. The small differences in their scores highlight the diverse tastes of the Spanish public.
For women, Isabel Díaz Ayuso leads the national ranking as Spain's most desired woman, with 8.39% of the votes. Cristina Pedroche is second with 6.57%, followed by footballer Alexia Putellas, who is third with 6.23%. These three very different personalities reflect the strength and diversity of female empowerment.
