Attic Soul will ignite Black Sound Costa Adeje in Tenerife!
The fifth Black Sound Costa Adeje festival will take place in Adeje, featuring performances by Attiyah Soul and other stars of soul, funk, and gospel, with free admission to all concerts.
Soul, funk, and gospel will once again resonate in the town of Adeje! The fifth Black Sound Costa Adeje festival will take place on September 26th and 27th on Salytien Square. This is a cool event for everyone who loves black music. Both famous stars and local talents await you. The festival has already become an important cultural event in the Canary Islands.
This year's main theme is the influence of African music on Europe, especially on Great Britain, where African, Caribbean, and American motifs have merged. For two consecutive evenings, Adeje will be a meeting place for different styles, where traditions intertwine with modernity. You will hear voices that will definitely not leave you indifferent.
This year's headliner will be Attih Soul, a Nigerian singer whose music has long conquered the world. He will come to Tenerife to share his creativity and story. Also performing will be Briton Clayton Campbell, who sings gospel and jazz, Sandra Tangerina, who performs soul and R&B, and Spaniard Marisa Tolentino, who has collaborated with famous artists such as Raphael and David Bisbal. The BSBand group, led by Sergio "DiEbony" Sebrian, will once again be the musical accompaniment of the festival, and the host will be singer Ainhoa Aguilar from Adeje.
On Friday the 26th, Ainhoa Aguilar, Sandra Tangerina and Clayton Campbell will perform, and on Saturday the 27th, Ainhoa Aguilar, Attih Soul and Marisa Tolentino. And most importantly, admission to all concerts is free! The Adeje City Council wants quality music to be accessible to everyone, so that people can come together and enjoy different cultures.
Attih Soul's arrival at the festival is a special event. He always strives to be authentic in his music and knows how to convey emotions with his voice. "I've been singing all my life, but I realized it was more than just a hobby in 2015. I saw how my music touched people's hearts. Then I realized that my voice is a gift that I have to share with the world," says the artist.
His work was influenced by such legends as Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross and John Legend. He learned from them how to convey emotions, work with his voice and write songs that tell stories. "They inspired me to combine beautiful melodies with meaningful lyrics, creating a classic and at the same time modern sound," he explains.
Attih Soul doesn't just entertain the public. In 2017, he sang at the celebration of Democracy Day in Nigeria. "It was an honor for me to perform at such an important event. I realized that my music can give hope and unite people, and that I can make a difference in my country."
He has performed in many countries around the world, from South Africa to France and Russia. "I realized that music is a universal language that unites all of us, regardless of culture and language," he says. One of the most important moments in his career was receiving the "Golden Microphone" in Russia from the legendary Lev Leshchenko.
Attih Soul is currently working on a new album that will combine Afro-soul, R&B and gospel. He also plans to perform at small concerts to be closer to his fans. "I promise that my music comes from the heart, and it's worth the wait," he says.
But most of all, he loves performing on stage. "The best thing is the exchange of energy with the audience. It's an incredible feeling to put your soul into a song and see how it resonates in people. When I see them singing, smiling and getting excited, it's more than just a performance: it's a shared moment of unity and joy. This is my favorite place."
Black Sound Costa Adeje is a great opportunity to see all this live, in a beautiful place and for free. Come and listen to voices that seem to be coming from the heavens and remind us that music is a common language that unites us all.
