
Attempted Gas Station Robbery Foiled in Los Realejos; One Suspect Arrested

Two men tried to rob a gas station in Los Realejos on Tuesday afternoon, using force.
The pair attempted to steal the cash register and struggled with employees. However, they were unsuccessful and fled the scene. The incident happened around 7:00 PM at a service station in the La Gañanía industrial estate. The robbers entered the station intending to take the money, but they did not use any weapons. They tried to forcibly take the cash register, but the staff's resistance stopped them.
The men escaped on a motorcycle. Police were alerted and responded to the scene. The motorcycle they used was later found abandoned near the industrial estate.
Shortly after, a 40-year-old man, believed to be one of the suspects, was apprehended in the area and arrested. Police are investigating whether these individuals are connected to other violent robberies in Los Realejos.
