Espacio Bronzo is hosting a guided tour of the contemporary jewelry exhibition "Mirando al suelo" this Friday, January 2nd. The artist, Atri Galván, will lead the tour. The event starts at 5:30 PM. Admission is free, but space is limited.

This year's annual contemporary jewelry show, curated by Pilar Cotter, is currently on display. You can see it until Thursday, January 8th, at the La Laguna gallery, located at 19 Núñez de la Peña Street.

In "Mirando al suelo" (Looking at the Ground), Atri Galván continues a long-standing theme in her work: the connection to her family's trades, specifically her father's. The Tenerife-born artist creates her pieces based on personal experiences and moments of quiet observation of her surroundings. Galván collects discarded items from a locksmith's workshop, transforming them into her jewelry. These include electrodes, washers, bearings, and clips.
