Atogo residents are plagued by illegal street racing and late-night gatherings, prompting calls for local government intervention after reports of crashes and noise disturbances.

The town of Atogo, famous for the annual Atogo Rally, is facing a new problem, according to the local PSOE party in Granadilla de Abona. Instead of the excitement of the race, residents are dealing with illegal street racing, late-night gatherings, and increasing concerns about safety.

The PSOE reports that a group of young people are using the town's roads for unauthorized races and gatherings that last until sunrise. Residents have described the situation as a "nightmare" to Jennifer Miranda, the socialist spokesperson.

Miranda stated that residents have reported serious incidents, including car crashes and overturned vehicles, and that they are losing sleep due to the noise. The PSOE emphasizes that these issues are not isolated incidents, happening several times a week, and are urging the local government to take immediate action.
