Atlantic Jazz Lab Brings Glenn Miller Tribute to Puerto de la Cruz
The Atlantic Jazz Lab Orchestra, led by Natanael Ramos, performs a two-day Glenn Miller tribute at Tenerife's Hotel Botánico this weekend, featuring The Jazz Influencers as part of their #Nowinterfest tour.
The Atlantic Jazz Lab Orchestra, led by trumpeter Natanael Ramos, is currently touring the Islands. They are performing a special tribute to American musician Glenn Miller, a true master of swing. Miller's unique sound had a huge impact, influencing not only jazz but also pop music and even cinema.
This tour is part of the latest #Nowinterfest, an event supported by the regional government through Turismo de Islas Canarias and the Canary Institute for Cultural Development. The orchestra will be making a stop in Puerto de la Cruz.
The Tenerife performance will feature several new elements. It's a two-day event, taking place this Saturday and Sunday at 6:00 PM, at the Hotel Botánico in the tourist city. A highlight will be the participation of the young orchestra, The Jazz Influencers. These talented musicians are part of the Atlantic Jazz Lab's training program, a project dedicated to bringing jazz to all the islands and a wider audience.
