Arona is investing 2.2 million euros in the renovation of over 20 streets in various districts to improve road safety and convenience.

Roads are being repaired in Arona! The authorities are investing 2.2 million euros in improving more than 20 streets and districts, including Playa de las Américas, Los Cristianos, Costa del Silencio, El Fraile, Guargacho, and Las Rosas. This is all being done as part of a major asphalt renewal plan developed by the city council.

Some roads have already been repaired, and work is now underway on Sweden Avenue and Ramón Pino, Paseo Cornisa, Otero, and Barroso streets in Los Cristianos and El Fraile. These are areas where there are always a lot of cars. Other important streets will be taken care of in the near future.

The mayor of Arona, Fátima Lemes Reverón, says that the road renewal is the result of responsible planning. They want the streets to be safe and convenient for all residents.

The councillor for works, Héctor Reyes, added that in this way they are improving road safety and renewing the surface where it is most worn. This is all to make life better for people.

Reyes also noted that work is planned in other areas as well. Everything is being done gradually so as not to cause major inconvenience.

In total, about 2.5 million euros have been allocated to the asphalt renewal plan for 2024-2025. Work will continue in Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas, Arona Casco, Valle San Lorenzo, Cabo Blanco, Buzanada, Guargacho, Cho, El Fraile, Las Galletas-Costa del Silencio.

It is worth noting that the Arona City Council is not engaged in road renewal for the first time.
