
Arson Arrest Made in Arona Hostel Blaze
Spanish police have arrested a 64-year-old foreign man on suspicion of arson after a fire at a hostel in Arona's Magalí shopping center in mid-November.
Police in Spain have arrested a person suspected of starting a fire at a hostel in the Magalí shopping center in Arona.
The fire happened in mid-November. National Police, local police, firefighters, and health services all went to the scene, where they helped evacuate and assist around 70 people.
After investigating, officers found evidence suggesting the fire was started on purpose. Eventually, a 64-year-old foreign man was identified and arrested as the suspect. He faces charges of arson.
The man has been handed over to the courts.
