In southern Tenerife, a 48-year-old Colombian man was arrested on suspicion of threatening a 51-year-old man with a knife in El Médano.

On Friday afternoon, a man was arrested in southern Tenerife. He is suspected of threatening someone with a knife.

It is said that he was waving a large knife, threatening another man. What happened between them is still unknown.

The incident occurred on a street in the town of El Médano, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. on Avenida José Miguel Galván Bello.

Police are currently investigating the details. It is known that a 48-year-old Colombian man, who lives in the municipality of Adeje, threatened to kill another man.

It all happened near a sports clothing store.

The victim is believed to be a 51-year-old resident of El Médano.

Local police from Granadilla de Abona arrived at the scene. They spoke with the victim and witnesses to understand what happened.

The 48-year-old man was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning.

It is preliminarily known that he had no previous problems with the law in Spain.

This incident occurred just three and a half hours after a young homeless man from the Netherlands stabbed another homeless man with a corkscrew in the same El Médano.
