Two suspects have been arrested in Tenerife for the rape of a young woman.
In Tenerife, two local residents were arrested on suspicion of severely beating and raping a young woman in Puerto de la Cruz.
At the end of August, a terrible incident occurred in the north of Tenerife: a young woman was brutally beaten and raped. The police investigated the case and recently arrested two suspects. Both are locals from the Canary Islands.
It all happened in the town of Puerto de la Cruz. Two friends, both around 20 years old, left a nightclub and were looking for a taxi to get home.
For some reason, they got into a private car with these two men. The girls also live in Tenerife.
After a few minutes, the driver stopped somewhere far from the center of Puerto de la Cruz. One of the girls sensed danger, jumped out of the car, and ran away.
But her friend was not so lucky. The men grabbed her and prevented her from escaping. They are said to have beaten her severely and brutally raped her.
After some time, the attackers simply left her near one of the bars in the north of the island.
The police investigated the case for several days and arrested one of the suspects in the Añaza area of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The next day, the second man involved in this horrific crime was also arrested.
