Arona is establishing itself as an accessible tourism destination by providing fully equipped beaches, including Spain's largest wooden platform and amphibious chair services, alongside accessible tourist information offices.

Arona is building its tourism around accessibility, aiming to ensure everyone can enjoy the area equally. This commitment is especially clear at its beaches, which are fully accessible, making them welcoming and safe for all.

The beaches of Las Vistas, Los Cristianos, and Las Galletas provide special parking, accessible transport, easy-to-use paths, ramps leading to the sand, and adapted restrooms, changing rooms, and showers for people with reduced mobility. These facilities create a smooth and practical route from the town areas right down to the sea.

A standout feature at Las Vistas beach is a 500-square-meter wooden platform, the largest of its kind in Spain. This platform makes it easier for wheelchair users to reach resting and sunbathing spots right on the beachfront, greatly improving their experience of the beach.

Beyond these facilities, an amphibious chair service is available. This allows people with reduced mobility to get help with bathing in the sea. It opens up more ways to enjoy the water and further strengthens how welcoming Arona's beaches are to everyone.

Accessibility also covers tourist information services. Arona's Tourism Board has fitted all its tourist information offices with magnetic induction loop systems. This helps people with hearing disabilities and ensures clearer communication at these public service points.

Through these efforts, Arona is establishing itself as an accessible destination where inclusion is a core value. This improves the quality of its tourist services and helps create a fairer and more equal experience for both residents and visitors.
