In the Canary Islands, a drug dealer was arrested with one and a half kilograms of cocaine.
In San Cristóbal de La Laguna, police arrested a 32-year-old man and seized over a kilogram and a half of cocaine, dismantling a drug trafficking point in the San Matías area.
In the city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, in the San Matías area, the police shut down a location where cocaine was actively being sold.
It all started with information about a 32-year-old man who was dealing cocaine – both in small quantities to regular customers and in slightly larger quantities to other small dealers. He was doing this right at his home in San Matías.
On the morning of August 21, police officers came to his home with a search warrant issued by the court. They found quite a bit: over one and a half kilograms of cocaine (more precisely, 1852 grams), a crossbow, a stun gun, and more than a thousand euros in cash (1185 euros). Naturally, the man was immediately detained.
The court decided to take him into custody during the investigation, as there is suspicion that he was involved in drug trafficking. Thanks to this operation, it was possible to close an important point of sale for cocaine in San Matías. However, the investigation is still ongoing, and new arrests are possible.
