
A suspect has been arrested in Tenerife for setting fire to six cars.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested in Tenerife on suspicion of setting fire to six cars in Adeje, resulting in three of them being burned.
In Adeje, Tenerife, police have apprehended a man suspected of setting fire to as many as six cars.
On the night of September 3, 2025, fires broke out almost simultaneously in two locations on adjacent streets. The fire spread to six parked cars, three of which were completely destroyed. This posed a significant risk to people.
Fortunately, firefighters, national and local police arrived quickly and extinguished the flames. They prevented the fire from spreading to other cars, houses, and trees. No one was injured.
Police determined that someone had intentionally set the cars on fire, using a special liquid to do so. Thanks to the investigation, a 27-year-old man, who already had a history with the law, was quickly found and arrested. He is suspected of arson and has been handed over to the court.
