Aldara Drops Genre-Bending Single "Q PKO" and Music Video
Canary Islands artist Aldara releases her genre-bending single "Q PKO," a vibrant mix of pop, electronic, urban, and Latin sounds, accompanied by a self-directed music video.
When Aldara, the artist from the Canary Islands, said her music was taking a completely new direction this year, she wasn't kidding. Her new song, "Q PKO (Qué pecao)," really does feel like a turning point in her career.
Known for her ability to switch between genres, Aldara is releasing "Q PKO" this Friday on all the usual online music platforms. It's a fresh and unique track where she mixes pop, electronic, urban, and Latin sounds. As she explains, "Q PKO" is all about "nightlife, clubs, having fun, dancing, and that platonic crush. Who hasn't felt that impossible attraction that's always about to happen?"
With its catchy melodies, rhythms, and sing-along choruses, "Q PKO" keeps the party going that Aldara started with her music releases in 2025 – it's all about breaking boundaries, celebrating life, and showing off her personality. Aldara, who won the LPA Emer-gente 2025 (part of the LPA Beer & Music Festival) and the 2021 Canary Islands Music Award for best song with "Pura Babel," is adding another hit to her ever-changing collection.
Her music is helping Aldara grow and evolve as an artist. She's already had success with her first three singles ("Pura Babel," "Soy," and "Tu jardín") and her EP "MalaVida," which featured five new songs. Other releases include the singles "A manos abiertas," "La Desaparecida," the remix of "Lo admito," "Reina Burka," and "Rumbo al Pari."
To go along with "Q PKO," there's also an official music video that's been available on her YouTube channel since Thursday. The video was directed by Aldara herself.
