In a formal statement, González clarified that her previous complaints did not involve domestic violence, but rather a hostile work environment and strained professional relationships. The administrative process leading to her current status was lengthy. According to documents provided by González, she requested to be registered as a non-attached councilor on June 25, 2026, and formally resigned from all executive duties on July 30. A mayoral resolution, published in the Official Gazette of the Province on August 14, officially confirmed the end of her ties to the government team.
