In Tenerife, the police saved a woman from suicide thanks to the help of her son and concerned locals, promptly taking her to the hospital.

Last week in Tenerife, in the town of Puerto de la Cruz, police rescued a woman who, according to a call to 112, wanted to commit suicide.

The search lasted almost an hour. It was very hot, which complicated matters.

Eventually, thanks to her son, the woman was found. She was lying face down on the ground and was very weak.

The police immediately provided her with first aid and called an ambulance.

Since the woman's condition was serious and she needed to be taken to the hospital urgently, the police decided to take her there in the car of a concerned local resident who had been helping with the search. The police car accompanied them.

At the hospital, doctors stabilized the woman's condition. Her life is no longer in danger. The Canary Islands Police thanked all services, relatives, and concerned people for their coordinated work.
