A 38-year-old swimmer who swallowed water was rescued at Playa Jardín beach and taken to the hospital in a moderately serious condition.
Today at 14:25, the Canary Islands rescue service received a report that lifeguards had pulled a swimmer from the water on Playa Jardín beach and he needed assistance.
Medics immediately went to the scene.
The 38-year-old man had swallowed water and his condition was assessed as moderate. He was taken to Hospiten Bellevue hospital by ambulance.
Local police also worked at the scene to clarify all the circumstances.
